Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep (or yoga nap!) as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. Everyone can do it! You will rest comfortably in savasana (corpse pose), the teacher will guide you through a mindfulness practice called ” pancha maya kosha ” (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.
You don’t even have to get change! It is one pose…laying down! You just take off your shoes and we provide cushions, mats for hire and good vibes.
There is no wrong way to ‘yoga Nidra’, every one will experience something a little different!
We are holding our yoga Nidra class for 30 minutes , in the middle of the day to give you a chance to zone out of your day and into yourself. 🙂
You will leave feeling relaxed, and less stressed.
If you don’t think you have the time to fit it in, remember that practitioners claim that a 30 minute yoga nidra session has the rejuvenating effects of several hours sleep! 😛
